Matt Bernstein works with clients in a variety of industries on market research initiatives and the development of marketing strategies. He has conducted quantitative and qualitative strategic research for a wide variety of Fortune 500 companies, foundations, and non-profit organizations in the US and around the world. Matt has a particular focus on clients in the education, financial services, healthcare, and pharmaceutical industries and has experience with studies evaluating advertising and message effectiveness, guiding new product development, and measuring brand equity.
Prior to joining HawkPartners, Matt was a Senior Analyst at KRC Research, a global strategic market research consultancy and member of the Interpublic Group of Companies. In his role at KRC, Matt assisted with and led quantitative and qualitative research projects in order to drive media attention, grow brand awareness, and strengthen communications efforts on dozens of strategic communications and public relations campaigns. Matt worked primarily for leading financial services, corporate, and consumer packaged goods clients.
In his time away from work, Matt enjoys playing basketball and golf, cheering for the Hoyas, and going to trivia with his friends. He also enjoys cooking and attending live jazz shows.
Matt received a B. A. in Government with honors from Georgetown University.
