Mark Rowland works with clients across an array of industries on marketing strategy, research and communications initiatives. His research and consulting work has spanned numerous Fortune 500 companies with a focus in pharmaceutical, healthcare, financial services, and professional services firms. Utilizing quantitative and qualitative techniques, Mark relies on his experience in both disciplines to manage a wide variety of research projects both domestic and global. Mark is particularly interested in emerging digital research techniques and how these are evolving the field of market research.
Prior to joining HawkPartners full-time, Mark was an intern at the firm. During his internship, Mark assisted on a wide variety of qualitative and quantitative projects, with clients focused in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. Prior to his internship, Mark spent four months at Fort Lee, Virginia training as a transportation officer in the Army National Guard.
When he’s not working, Mark enjoys rooting for the Boston Bruins and his newly adopted Washington Capitals. He also loves to travel and, as a self-described amateur chef, explore the burgeoning DC restaurant scene. A native of northern Vermont, Mark is an avid skier and maple syrup connoisseur.
Mark received a B.A. in Political Science with a minor in Chinese Language and Culture from Washington University in St. Louis.
