Ilana manages quantitative research and consulting projects for clients and has specific knowledge in the pharmaceutical industry. She has developed considerable expertise conducting and coordinating multi-country, global projects with clients such as GE Healthcare, Millennium: the Takeda Oncology Company, and Astellas Pharma. A native of Italy, Ilana speaks Italian and fluent Spanish and is familiar with European healthcare systems and regulations. 

Prior to joining HawkPartners, she was a Senior Consultant at Majestic Research, a consulting firm specializing in the Healthcare sector. 

Ilana received a B.A. in Mathematics and in Philosophy of Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Philosophy (M.Phil.) in Neuroscience from the Mount Sinai School of Medicine of NYU.  During her years in academia, Ilana authored four scientific publications on neurodegenerative diseases, the latest one of which was published in the Journal of Neurological Sciences in 2010.
